Soul Healing Ministry

Bethel Christian Ministry (BCM) offers Counseling, Soul healing, and deliverance as a package specifically designed to bring about total freedom to the brokenhearted, the depressed, the oppressed, the poor, the sick and the captives. Helping recover and rediscover one’s true identity in Christ thereby fulfilling one’s purpose and maximizing their potential on earth.

Counseling is simply providing a professional assistance and guidance in resolving personal or psychological problems. We achieve this by the help of the Holy Spirit and through the Spiritual gifts entrusted to us by God.

Identity crisis is often the reason for many people’s downfall in life; when you understand what you are made out of and how every part of your functions and the purpose thereof, you’ll find it hard to abuse yourself, let alone embrace any abuse or their effects on you; when purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 says: “May God himself, the God of peace sanctify you completely. May your whole Spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” By this we understand that we are a three-part being consisting of a spirit, soul and body. The real you is a spirit, you then have a soul but you live in your body.

Solomon’s temple in the OT is a concealed picture of who you are today. One could not access the Holy of Holies without going through the outer court first, the inner court and then the Holy of Holies. The revealed picture of Solomon’s temple in the NT is that you are the temple of the Holy Spirit; your body being symbolic of the outer court, your soul symbolic of the inner court and your spirit, the Holy of holies. Understand that the outer court and inner court were in one building but separated by a veil, which spiritually got torn later at the cross. In the same manner, your soul and your spirit are joined together, intertwined and find their expression in what we officially call “heart”; your heart is therefore and simply a platform of expression.

It is for the above reasons that the devil, knowing that the real you is a spirit, understands that the only way to get to you is by getting your body to either do or react to certain unpleasant things. This is how he gets access to your soul.

Your soul is made out of four elements namely your mind, your will, your emotions and your imaginations. During our sessions, an in-depth teaching is given in order to equip and empower you with understanding and knowledge about you and show you how the enemy has been having access to you through the four elements of your soul and how to stop him. (For further info on the matter refer to my book: ”Unveiling your book of life” on

I’m sure you’ve once heard someone say that the mind is a battlefield! That is absolutely true. Do you know that, right now as you are reading, there is a war going on in the spiritual realm?

Listen to what Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 10: 3-5:” For though we WALK in the flesh, we do not WAR according to the flesh; for our warfare is not carnal but Mighty in God to the pulling down of stronghold, casting down vain imaginations, and everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” It simply means that, while you are innocently walking, there is spiritual warfare going on in the realm of the spirit… i.e.: someone wishing you bad, talking negative things about you, etc…

Deliverance ministry is one of the most misunderstood ministries. A perfect picture of deliverance ministry is found in John 11:43-44 “And when He had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” and he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped in a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him and let him go”

The call of Jesus unto Lazarus is what Jesus’ call unto you and I at salvation is. It means that, just because you’ve accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, it doesn’t exclude you from being bound, followed or oppressed by a demon. Isn’t interesting to note that after Jesus’ call, the loosing of Lazarus part was no longer Jesus’ but the disciples? Now that’s the work of deliverance. The work of deliverance can be almost instant or progressive. Lazarus was bound from head to toe. This is the reason why you find that in the spiritual realm someone might have their feet loosed, meaning they can travel and access many opportunities in life but for some reason they can’t grab the right opportunities, the reason is that their spiritual hands and eyes are still bound, counseling, soul healing and deliverance is therefore needed for such a person.

One of the main questions I get asked is: “can a Christian be demon possessed?” and the answer is “No”, however, a Christian can be oppressed, tormented, vexed, followed, incited or un-conscientiously used by demons. Listen, after Jesus fasted for 40days, he was followed and tempted by Satan and the bible says: “when the devil had finished all this tempting, he left him until an opportune time.” Luke 4:13. If Jesus was followed constantly by Satan, how much more you and i. no wonder why most believers struggle often! It’s because demons are forever looking for an opportunity to attack us when we are vulnerable or least expect.

So we offer deliverance because it’s true that a believer can be oppressed by a demon or more, otherwise, it would be pointless to cast out demons. It is Satan’s lie to keep demons from being cast out, If all we had to do was get people saved so that their demons go away, then what is the point in casting them out? You can be completely sane and yet have a spirit of infirmity like the woman in Luke 13.

It is, therefore, true that based on the above that the word possessed can apply to a non-believer if of course there is an affliction of some sort in their lives. Accepting Jesus as their lord and savior would then be the primary remedy! Isn’t interesting that those who claim that Christians cannot have demons are not even casting them out of non-believers.
